Clinical Significance
The CCND1(BCL1)/IgH translocation is a key marker for the diagnosis of Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL), which is a subtype of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL). It is also found in other heme malignancies including multiple myeloma and leukemia subtypes. Available separately or as part of the NHL FISH Panel or Plasma Cell Myeloma IgH Complex FISH Panel.
Storage and transportation
Refrigerate specimen. Do not freeze. Use cold pack for transport, making sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen. NYS clients please provide date and time of collection.
